Colette LEWINER

Dr Colette Lewiner has graduated from École Normale Supérieure (Sèvres) and has a PhD in physics
In November 1979, after around 10 years spent as a physics researcher, she joined Électricité de France (EDF), and became in 1989 EDF’s first woman Executive Vice President.
Colette Lewiner was appointed Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, of SGN on March 1992. She expanded this 10 000 persons top class engineering and services Company internationally.
In 1998, Colette Lewiner joined Capgemini and in May 2000, she was nominated Executive Vice President and Global Leader of the Energy, Utilities and Chemicals Sector. In 2011, with 1bn€ revenue this global Unit represented 11% of Capgemini’s revenue (compared to 4% in 1998) had more than 10 000 collaborators.
On July 1st 2012, Colette became Energy advisor to Capgemini Chairman.
In addition, in September 2010, Colette was nominated TDF non executive chairwoman (until April 2015).
She is presently independent Board Director at EDF, Bouygues Group (including Colas), Nexans, Eurotunnel, Ingenico.

- publication of the “Que sais-je” collection book on Nuclear Power;
- 60 publications and conferences on nuclear energy;
- 70 articles and conferences on the Utilities and Oil and Gas markets;
- publications on research and education and women’s roles.
Colette Lewiner is Member of the French Academy of Technology.
She is “Commandeur” in the Legion of Honour and “Grand Officier” in the Order of Merit.
