Throughout her career, she has held several leadership positions at Eastman, where she has been instrumental in driving innovation, growth, and leading multifunctional teams. Her expertise in technology innovation, project engineering, and laboratory supervision of plastics processing has played a pivotal role in the successful commercialization of key products and the establishment of effective strategies for innovation portfolio development. In her current role, Inari Seppä advocates for advancements in the circularity of plastics, working with different stakeholders to make significant steps towards driving positive change and a more sustainable future. Beyond her role at Eastman, she actively participates in shaping the industry’s sustainability landscape. She actively contributes to the industry through her involvement in esteemed organizations, serving as a board member of the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), where she plays a vital role in shaping global sustainability standards. Furthermore, she holds a directorship on the board of CompostWorks in Liverpool, working towards building a community composting network to tackle the pressing issue of food waste in the city.
