Before joining EIB, Manfred Newrly worked in medical device companies mainly with emphasis on cardiovascular medicine. His experience includes market development, marketing, training, and sales within international medtech companies. Manfred Newrly holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (USA) and a diploma in Technical Cybernetics from the University of Stuttgart (Germany).
